Storskogvatnet in Rago National Park
This forest hike starts at the end of the road that follows Nordfjordelva in Sørfold. From the big parking lot, you hike up the hill that starts at the end of the parking lot and keep following it. This trail takes you into the amazing Rago National Park with the lake Storskogvatnet as the endpoint. The path disappears from time to time where there is a rocky landscape, but you will have no problem finding it again as long as you keep going in the same direction. The terrain can be steep and wet here and there, so good hiking shoes with a great grip is recommended. The distance from the start point to Storskogvatnet is around 7.7 kilometers, which takes about 2 hours with calm hiking speed. Lot's of nice nature spots to check out along the way, so expect to spend a bit more time on this beautiful hike
