Mountain hiking to Keiservarden in Bodø
This hike starts at the big parking lot below Turisthytta in Bodø. From here you walk the dirt road up the forest until the path on the right side starts. Follow the path and stone stairs and you will eventually end up at the top of the tiny mountain called Keiservarden. This mountain is named after the German Emperor Wilhelm II who visited this spot 19. July 1891. The hike is is quite short, only around 2.30 kilometers from the parking lot to the top of Keiservarden, which takes more or less 30 minutes with a regular hiking speed. Here you get a great view towards Bodø city and it's beautiful mountainous surroundings, as well as Landegode island
